Of course you get paid. You just don't have chargeable hours, and that can reflect badly on your performance review. Of course, if your talent specialist and mgmt can't find you roles, then its on them.

Some may say that this is a good thing, that you get paid to basically do training on your own time or to do nothing at all. But in the long run, you can't say you did nothing on your resume. The longer you hang around doing nothing, the more you stay trapped in the company.

It depends on whether you're Accenture internal, or a consultant. If you go to ACCN office, then it's formal office wear. For most projects I'm aware of, most are semi-casual since you work at makeshift offices. Of course, ACCN has a ton of clients and it's entirely dependent on how the client wants you to dress.
Point 1 is quite valid but I don't know about the others but my management tried to get me to become a BA at one point ( I was a dev then and someone in the project approached me mentioning I was tasked to do something ), I had the conversation immediately with the management saying it's not aligned to my career and I'm not interested in it. They called it off then.

Point 2, it's the TFS/PL role to find you projects to interview, but it's on you to accept/get it. Even if it's roles you have no interest/done before. So it's only on them if they can't get you projects to interview. But it's unlikely for them to not be able to find a project. Yup, because TFS will throw you any roles if they can't find you roles that is aligned with your skillsets.

Point 4, it's pretty much project dependent but I wholly dgaf even if I have to work at RCT, I'll still wear semi-casual lol. But if the project requires me to wear formal, then llst have to wear. hahaha.
