I am not too sure if it happens often. The thing is, DPM is still not a very technical role. Similar to other relationship type of finance roles, it is more of who you know rather than what you know that determines whether you get the job.
So you mean asset management buyside roles from the banks? If yes, then of cos it is more relevant to investment jobs
