Realistically, they will vet your CV and ask you for an interview within 1-1.5mths latest, if you don't get an interview callback by then, it means you did not make it to the interview stage.

If you've interviewed already, and you don't get an offer within 1 week (actually within a few days), you have failed. Acceptances are notoriously fast.

You're probably looking at a lead time of 1-2mths depending on the dept.

NOTE: The only exception is WongP, they always try to do the interview in like 1 week from your application. If you don't get an interview from WongP within 2 weeks, you likely failed.
