GIC are different, so they have different pay scales and are not directly comparable.
GIC is pegged to asset management
MAS is pegged to public service (central bank)
If you know the history of
GIC, one of the reasons why it was hived off from
MAS was because of the difference in pay scale due to differing scopes of work.
