Answering random questions so far.

1) ACN joining Yellow
Yes, it happens. Some of my colleagues came from ACN. Some mentioned that culture is better ( I am not sure if I should believe them), others cause Yellow wants to build up Tech Consulting so offers them a promotion in rank (M in ACN is SM in Yellow). Also promotions are faster here than ACN. (Like for like, pay there is definitely better)

2) Knowing salaries before they are out
Been here a few years, but never knew until the official news is out I don't really discuss salary, also the range in my band is quite high. Also once you hit a certain age (mid 30s ) nobody really compared salaries anymore, cause it depends on your skills etc and not salary band that really determines your salary.


3) Why I am still in Big4 Consulting?
I'm looking for exit opportunities, but am more selective . No point jumping to a dead end job in a bank doing ops *shudders* if you can still find interesting work. I interviewed for a bank (in-house consulting) but the job scope described was " closing any reg issues identified by IA" which is hella boring compared to the work I do now.
