if you don't have much choices I guess micron or semi conductors are usually easy to get in (you can use these as safety net job choices)
if I were you I'll probably improve my programming in the meantime (since its a in-demand skill) unless this is something you really hate.
anyways EE degree can be quite flexible, don't limit yourself to only engineering jobs. Friend from EE did machine learning, I believe the mathematical background from ee can allow you to pivot to other fields even like finance. Go find out what you like
