You need to keep trying and with a bit of luck, you may get a banking & finance job. I was an engineer in an MNC for 2 years and when I switched, I was so confused by the offers as there are different types of banking & finance jobs (I applied to all types since I'm desperate) and I can't start as MA since I have 2 y of work experience. But make sure it is not just the money you are after.
