i think you should look at finance and banking section of jobs directory. they have all of your answers.
as long as you're a diploma or degree holder you could be an analyst.
btw, the word 'analyst' is too loosely used. some 'analysts' may be overseeing paperworks to detect and analyse trade errors. some 'analysts' analyse the market and produce reports. it all depend on the job scopre.
