Just trying to put forward to you, it's all up to you what you want to do in life that will decide your earning. If you stay put and don't venture out, you will get stuck.

Agree. Reality is, if you want to be paid well, you have to (i) choose an industry that pays well and (ii) constantly be on the lookout for a better opportunity.
I have poly friends who are making more than 10k per month 8 years out of
ns because they were constantly looking out for opportunity - very alert and very agile. I also have a level scholar army mates which are still working with the govt drawing barely $5k.
