From local uni here. I don't think
MAS discriminates on class of honours or local/private uni.
Basically, our base in first year is lower, but gross is ~4.5-4.6k. Once you reach year 2 your base will bump up significantly due to the new bonus structure. HR should have explained this, you can ask them to clarify.
