Hi,
Just need some advice on CFA L1.Im currentley working as an Assitant engineer for a technology firm.I have 4 years of engineering experience.During my 3rd year I started doing my part time degree.Said that Im gonna finish up my degree next month(2011/May).I have a strong feeling that Engineerig aint my cup of tea!!!
My interest have changed towards finance.So Ive taken the initial step to sit for CFA lev 1 exam coming Dec to gain some banking/finance knowledge
Just a few questions to clarify??
1) After passing Level 1 what are my chances of getting a job in finace side??
2) main reason for doing CFA is to get in to MFE programme offered by
NTU.what are my chances of getting admitted in to a university MFE programme with CFA Level 1 + Parttime engineering degree ??
3) Hw long should I reserve for CFA study preparation??? (My math is really good)(Finance zero-done fair bit of accounting during high school)
4)Which area in finance should I look forward to work in??
