to the above posters: im applying through the normal route as well and awaiting pli results but i disagree on the assessment that inhouse recommendation getting to bypass ma selection is unfair - they would have performance evaluation records in a database and surely their 2 or 3 years experience would be a much more rigorous interview than a one day assessment centre. its not even comparable.
