Wow that’s a big jump and a big salary for a year 1 resident. So residents are definitely a cut above MOs even if they are like a 3rd year MO vs a year 1 resident. Do residents salary get raised as they progress to more advanced years ? What’s the difference between a resident and a registrar in a specialty training program ?
