Seriously.

But does anyone wonder why the high earners keep getting bigger paychecks while the freshies and average earners have to cheapen themselves?
then you are making it a political argument, I am a fresh grad and i am not cheapening myself and I have received good offers(by my standards, banking MA, govt, MNC global graduate associate/trainee prog/SIA, pay of from mid to upper end of 3k) even though I am only a local grad with an arts major.

I agree with lazyplane, blaming the gov, blaming foreign talent, blaming your peers for doing better is no point.

Work on yourself and prove yourself, and there will be a way.

I do freaking english lit in FASS and I can receive good offers, why not anyone else with a more marketable major? How you market yourself and buffer your CV makes a difference, not sitting in front of a keyboard and moan.
