I am from overseas law school, already called to the bar and currently working in house in mnc with lots of free time (used to work in small law firm of 2 lawyers and 4 paralegals).
Why do we keep comparing overseas and local graduates from law? Isnt that what Part A and Part B of the bar exams are for. If overseas graduates are able to pass the bar exams, would that not signify that they are in the same calibre as their local graduates counterparts.
If overseas graduates CMI, the bar exams would filter them out and they wont make the cut to get called to the bar.
Therefore, please stop the distinction.
