The issue with the TDP is that its requirements are very vague (perhaps intentionally so?)... so we get a bunch of applicants from commercial side of things / engineering and whatnot.

I don't think IB and asset management firms ever declare must be 2:1 degree is a must have, that sounds more like GLC mentality. Are you sure you even know what's going on in the investment/trading world?
