I have a qn: noticed that some people have advised to ask the hiring dept if you are the top choice or reserve candidate during site preview. Just wondering how do you go about asking them with the other candidates around as well..? Do you try to ask them privately after the preview? Will they really tell you the truth if they know other candidates are around and might hear their response?
