Not sure for stat board. Ranking is meant for moderation across the board. Depend on how your boss fights for you. He might 'fight' for you but he could be fighting even harder for your colleagues....

Not just how much you "suck" up to your boss. Even if your boss gave his heart to you, he'll still be "steam-rolled" over when another more influential boss "fight" for his "pets" during the ranking...
