That's quite weird. Usually if they ask u to go for medical checkup then should be selected. Don't think they will waste money and time on the checkup but don't select you.

Did u apply the job through poly website or through the "career@gov" website? Since poly post job openings on the career@gov website, so it should mean that they follow the ministry and stat board...

Anybody working at stat board such as HDB? How is pay scale like? For degree holders they have MX scheme. Then how about the diploma holders?
