Unregistered i give u some advice from my mistakes during 20s.

job experience > paper qualifications.

since u already intend to do this long term, try to hold onto ur job, chalk up the years of experience, while u get the paper part time.

as for the duration, u look at the class timings locations etc. uol and kaplan has no difference in terms of quality or prestige.

once u get the paper, plus u have about 3 yrs exp then, u are in very good position to make a career jump within or outside the company. honestly the grades dont matter since ppl know ur studying part time.

PT Degree ?

Hi All,

Currently working contract based in a very reputable finance company. I have one year experience in bank operations, post NS, but was only offered 2k (had to put food on table). Intending to pursue a PT degree but am conflicted between the school and course duration. Got a Dip in Financial Informatics. I see myself mainly in operations/back-end. Was wondering whether to pursue a PT deg in:

SIMUOL B&F (Hons) 3yrs
KAPLAN B&F 1.5years
KAPLAN B&Mgmt 1.5yrs

I am financially constrained ( but not living paycheck to paycheck ), so will get a study loan. In a dilemma on whether a faster degree route will give me better prospects after i finish my contract. Hoping for sound advice
