community@lithan i think taking LOA to do the 6 month internship would be worth it if its an established company or if you're very interested in that field and it would help u. because experience nowadays are better than having a good GPA. But if you can get an internship now within a short span then i think you wld be able to do away with the 6months internship

Unregistered My question is, is this your first time doing internship? If you've already done one in y2, it shouldn't be hard to secure an internship with an MNC. Otherwise, it could probably be because your resume isn't up to standard.

Do both

Apply for job to get interview experiences and if doesn't bear fruit go for 6 month internship. Our local job market has been on manpower supply steroid for the past 6 years. Fortunately MOM is now closing the abundant supply. Companies are used to hire and not developing those with little experiences. HR department haa gotten weaker where hiring manager brings their people in.

Unregistered business school? did you try self-source internships (eg glints, intern sg, linkedin) besides those that are provided by the school?

NTU yr3 feeling lost

Rejected an internship offer from a stat board in the hope of receiving an internship from MNCs. Ended up not having any internship offer up till now. A current year 3 student panicking and lost at this point of time. Thinking if I should delay graduation and try to go for a 6-month long internship instead? Any advice
