However, I doubt the likes of Ninjavan or Honestbee can pay much. They have much lesser money compared to Grab that is backed by many large investors.

Grab and Honestbee pays well for software engineer roles, not as competitive for non-technical roles.
According to my peers, Ninjavan pays poorly as a startup, not a good working environment either.

They will normally increase to 7k upon finishing probation, but I heard its not easy to get in as they are very particular on certain comptency.
