longest 8 months. subject to security clearance.
Security clearance is 3-4 months....

A recent case took just over 2 months to get offer
from date of interview.
They will only notify those who they intend
to offer.

the process is still the same regardless of whether you know the hiring manager or not. all recruitments are centrally controlled by HR, so the hiring will still adhere to the process.
