oldbird Is there any IT/tech/cybersecurity job role for an IT grad that is:
  • Generally non-customer facing.
  • No need to deal with unreasonable customer requests or engage in unproductive discussion and persuasion of customers. The services provided are clear-cut.
  • Scope and tasks are relatively stable without last minute surprises e.g. sudden request/task that needs to be completed within 2 hours or on same day.
  • Relatively stable hours. OT one day a week or weekend shift work is fine.
  • Low salary between 4k to 5k is fine. Not aiming for salary above 6k.
  • Limited career progression is fine.

Unregistered I am also looking for the same. IT professional in late 30s, health isn't that good, so trying to take things slower with less pressure. Just a job to pay the bill, no need career advancement.

Which IT coy usually no need overtime after 6pm or weekend? MNC, SME or GLC?
