any one care to share your opinions? esp those living far from workplace.
Why not you rent a condo in the Jurong area?

Unregistered If your job has a tendency for overtime, plus you have to take public transport, it will be a double whammy.

Reaching home late everyday takes a toll on you eventually over the long run.

boomZ Long commuting will take its toll on you eventually. (both physical and financially ;p) So do consider this carefully. Unless that are many cheaper options/alternatives of bus/mrt. If taking taxis only option, this will surely affect your transport costs in the long run.

Consider wisely.

Depends whether got transport allowance Or not.

I have friends working deep in Tuas.

Their tpt allowance can range from $500(technician) to $2000(senior mgmt)

Blueberry If far from workplace won't even accept the job. Distance can be a factor that prompts you to think twice. If you do not mind traveling long hours, then ok, otherwise, you will grumble and complain everyday.
