erm.... bro broker and trader different. broker is more like property agent and traders are like the buyers and sellers. its like a service provider to the traders.

Heaven & earth actually. Traders are formulating trade strategies & algorithms to generate profits whereas in your case brokers are just administering the trades & earn some basic commission along the way. No point to compare a broker pay with a trader, one is a highly specialized finance job the other is more administration / sales & account management - different universe lah.

Could be a very small trading firm where you are only given small amounts to play with. Most layman think of being a trader as making big bucks easily, but reality is that unless you are from a big trading house or hedge fund firm, many of these boutique traders don't really earn a lot.

I worked in a small firm on top of a shop house in Tiong Bahru many years ago trading index derivatives. Many friends and relatives did not believe it when I told them honestly I couldn't even make a 6 figure income yearly. The firm subsequently went bust after 2008 GFC and the boss returned to Indonesia after creditors came looking for him.

Unregistered It would be more useful if those who want to know at least are close to or already get an offer with a specific trading house in mind. Reality is 99.9% of those who are asking won't get a trader's job so its pointless to ask for details on trading book bonuses.
