that's quite comfortable for a young graduate. salary will increase as you gain expertise and marketable skills. wealth will increase as you save and invest (i recommend property and stay away from stocks)

my wife and i used to earn $3K basic each, but after 15 years we now earn $30K combined in banking industry (excluding bonus)

our net worth from $0 starting to $300K after 5 years, $1.8M after 10 years and $3M after 15 years.

Unregistered Is $3000 (after-tax) really enough for Singapore? What do you guys think the approx. values for the following items should be?

Rent:
Utilities:
Meals:
Public Transport:
Insurance:
Entertainment:
Savings:
CPF:

Wouldn't $3000 be too tight for a single person living alone?
