The pay increment is just too little and too slow - judging from my other seniors who have worked for a lot more years. I guess I should move on while I still can.

I really need advice as to where I can go to - which positions accept an Engineering degree? As for me, I am interested in equities and derivative trading. I have browsed through jobs for weeks and most require experience or a relevant degree in finance/banking/economics. I do not mind starting low and work my way through. I am keen to learn.

Any advice is appreciated.
You are interested in equity/derivative trading? I guess you're interested in whichever sector that pays extremely well.

There are many people out there who are dying to enter into banking/finance industry, who don't have a related degree, who don't mind starting low and putting in insane hours. And many more people who are in the banking sector are already doing that, hoping to jobhop into the prestigious trading desk. No trading desk will accept an engineering degree. Simple advice: Get a banking degree, get top honours, apply and apply non-stop for entry level bank jobs.
