Unregistered Yes UOB is lowest, below avp is manager and you probably get somewhere around 4-5 max

IA here

yes, i agree to the above poster, an AVP could get as much as 6 - 8k per annum for an IA position in the IB's such as Barclays Capital and the like. Risk, Audit and Compliance are not profit centers but rather cost, so it simply means this position does not command a salary based on Company's profit, so BS on the person who mentioned about bonuses of more than 2 months, the best IA gets is 2 mos, that's it, and it comes in a good year where risk professionals are in demand, and not because the Company is raking up profits.

UOB being a local bank may be at the lower end of the scale for an AVP level, so I reckon a salary of 6 - 7k. An associate should be around 4.5k to 6k, this is because you have a big 4 experience, so you may be taken in as an associate but your salary is close to that of an AVP.

Unregistered Agree. AVP salary range should be around $5k to $8k for local banks. My impression is that UOB tends to be pretty easy-going in promoting people to AVPs, or even VPs fot that matter, so the salary range could be lower.

However if the post entails quantitative risk management, local paymasters will go up to 11-13k /mth max for the said position, for foreign investment firms like Blackstone or KKR an LBO firm, a Snr Assoc below AVP can draw an average of $35 k /mth excl possible bonus of up to 10-12 months. Nearing 400k per annum before tax.

Cheers
Seriously, dun give false hope to TS... 7.5-9K pm for associate is only for foreign investment bank and for selected position only.

For local bank, below AVP, expect less than 6K... the likely median (not higher end or lower end) for associate would be 4.5K
