Wage increase at 4.1% this year A survey report by Singapore Human Resources Institute says that the average salary increase this year will be 4.1%. In other words, if you currently make $10,000 and don't get at least $410 in increment, you're below average. The services sector, along with the marine and shipping businesses, are among the most generous - with employee wage increases ranging from 4% to 5.9%.
