iami From this post, it seems salary increment is between 10~20% for electronic industry when changing job? Just curious what is the typical range of salary increment for a european MNC?

changejob coy now offered 15%, but cautioned that the offered pay is already at my range salary ceiling and there will be no increment unless i get promoted..shld i take up the offer?

On this basis alone, it is not worthwhile. Adding to that the additional commuting time, I would say forget it.

I'm in the same industry and live in the west too.

My coy is now in the north-east and traveling time is 1.5hrs. Furthermore employees are expected to be at the office by 8. At first I thought it was ok when I made the move here for 20% increment but I feel the burden of traveling and standing on the train for so long each day. So I suggest to ask for more...

I should be moving to a workplace in the west soon if all goes well thou!

actually, the new coy does not seems to be that stable, not sure if it will moves out of singapore...

Unregistered based on increment alone i wont change. but i will consider other factors such as the prospect and the experience u will gain in the 2 jobs. no point staying if u will be stagnant in ur current drop. on the other hand, if u see urself having high potential moving up in current job den stay.
