Corporate or engineering career Hi, I am a fresh grad with an engineering deg (hons). I am freshly employed in corporate planning (local coy) however I have got a job offer as an engineer in an MNC. I am wondering which career will be suitable for growth and opportunities for advancement in the future. Any comments will be appreciated. TIA |

Zero advancement, zero benefits, shorter notice and that pittance of a salary for 2 years? The choice is clear. |

Yes, just take the job first while constantly looking around. If you find a better one then leave after that. Of course make your there is no penalties for breaking the 2 year contract. Check notice period etc. |

I will vote for NO. The 2 years contract is ridiculous. They want to bond you because they will be hiring you on the cheap and you will be stuck if you don't like your position for many possible reasons (r/s with boss, colleagues, environment, work itself, OT, commuting etc etc). Don't force yourself into a corner for no good reason. |

| undiscern | With NS it should be slightly higher than $1.8k, try to renegotiate. | |

| Unregistered | Garbage pay and some more 2 year contract. Now can easily get >2k permanent job in the market, anything less than 2.2k I won't bother. | |
