basket holding just a DL degree you should be thankful that you even got a stat board offer in the first place. your 2:2 counts for nothing because DL honours degrees are equivalent to just pass degree from ntu/nus/smu only. <2years experience usually not considered for remuneration esp if not relevant/different field. Keeping all that in mind 2.8 is a fair offer. |

Usually even with 3 years of relevant experience, most degree holders will still go in as entry level, with entry level pay (if your current pay is below their entry level pay). |

Stat boards ah.. then this 2.8k job must be an admin officer job. As far as a 3,000 salary is concerned, those are mainly for the uniformed positions like scdf, customs. some even go to 3,200. Those 3,000 admin officer jobs will be for local uni.. scholars, 1st class and 2nd upper may get even 4,000. |

Unregistered | Maybe because your degree is DL and not from local, and that even for DL yours is 2:2? Bear in mind Public Sector looks at academic credentials alot. It is not true that all Stat board pays at least $3k for entry level degree holder; it varies from agencies to agencies, job scope to job scope, and where you get your degree from. |
