I've participated in some paid-to-view scheme eons ago, something called "simple simon" that's operated by a company called trevda (the reverse of "advert"). Won a few small prizes - couldn't justify the time I spent on it. And after a couple of months, the company disappeared, along with simple simon.

If it seems too good to be true, it sure is.
This is a get-paid-to-review-a-product thing.

Similar in nature to the paid advertorials that newspapers and magazines do. Do you know that advertisers actually pay newspapers to write an article about their products? It's sort of a non-advertisement way to advertise your product. Those seemingly non-commercial articles that you see in the papers are actually paid for by advertisers.

Remotely similar to product endorsements by celebrities.

But I really don't know if it's a sustainable business model.
