I see. Well, I can't lead, though. Thanks a lot !

1. Instead of focusing on what you cant, what can you do ? If you say you cant do a lot of things and very depressed in life etc, i suggest you find someone to talk to. If that is too hard, then try reading the book "living without limits" by Nick Vujicic.

2. Ask yourself, do you want to speak well and speak confidently with people.
If you have that desire, but feel you dont have the "skill", then get involved in community work...why ? Because when u do volunteering in community work, u naturally are working with people whom generally are "more understanding" and compassionate and people whom dont judge by looks etc. Practice there and as you start to do so, i am sure you will find your skills improving as well
Thanks a lot for your help !

Unregistered you are probably an introvert and introverts can make good leaders. for one, they are normally calm, can think and analyse well, and command trust from people.

what you need to do is to develop and work on some of the traits of being "extroverted" while not losing yourself. learn to speak up and present your opinions when necessary, be more assertive when you feel strongly in something etc.

dun think that being 'extroverted' means better. we need traits of either side to be in the society. but you definitely have to learn to work with people. being independent is good, but some tasks can be completed in a much faster and efficient ways when working in teams.

My project team members are all different. One of them is like what you described. He doesn't mind helping out in taking minutes in our meetings, and he is good in writing codes. He doesn't want leadership role, but he contributes by being good in what he does and is dependable.
