Anyone applied for the recent job posting for Associate Patent Examiner 2 months ago? Any one got called up for interview yet? I keep checking the chatbot, but it just says waiting for approval

Noticed that this Trademark Examiner at IPOS was open for application and states its open for application from any degree. Just wondering if I stand a chance if I applied with a foreign Design Degree with 1st class with 2 years working experience and would I be eligible for the role? I've combed through past replies and noticed people talking about chem, bio and engineering degree graduates are the preferred applicants, but the scope of work that comes along with this really interests me. Hope to get any replies from existing staff that are working there as TM examiners! TIA |

Hi all, curious to understand the culture and prospect of IPOS. What would be the career progression for a trademark examiner? What's the salary range like too? Also, have scoured through all replies regarding the interview process. So there's 2 rounds of interview including a psychometric test? Thanks! |

Does the Office hire qualified international applicants (particularly the US)? If so, would an undergraduate degree in engineering (biomedical), a law degree (JD), decade of industry experience, and current experience examining at the US Patent Office help any? You might wonder why I just don't stick with my job in the US but my wife has been offered a position in Singapore and I'm just job hunting. Thanks! |
