MX 13 to MX 12 = Granting of 1 PI (Fixed rate) + 1 MI (based on CEP & PG)

Usual practice for 13 to 12 is notional increment for MI (PG = C). Hence getting $500 increment is very good as PI for 13 to 12 is $100++ only. This means your MI of $300++ based on B grade is good as it means your CEP is relatively high as compared to most new hires.

@ the gent with $300 increment

Yours is the norm. PI + MI (notional incr). CEP for average new freshie hires is usually only pegged 1 or 2 grades up.

@ $3500 remark in Min

Can't say low or high. Many factors. Female no NS? Degree classification? Masters? There are still fresh hires who get below $3000 when MX13 so progression to MX12 might still not make 3.5K.

Unregistered I don't think $3500 is low for a new MX 12, who is basically an officer in his/her 2nd year.

i got promoted to mx 12 too but only $300 increment as stated in the letter.
