My first full time job is a contract too. Working in MHA under one of the agencies. mine is $1700 per mnth gross. only 7 days a year of leave. no benefits watsover. 3 mths into working, they got perm opening and i applied for it and get it. current salary $2062 gross with 18 days of leave a yr. got increment, bonus and other benefits as well. fresh diploma grad here. |

good pay For a dip holder 2050 is considered upper end. I assume you are doing an operations role in the healthcare industry. It is norm that there are no aws, bonus etc because you are on a 1 year contract. You may wish to check again though on your 1 month upon completing of the 1 year contract. It should not be subjected to anything if you have completed the full 1 year. |

The contract is lousy. You already have a job in hand. Why not continue with that? Are you a Foreign Worker? Only Foreign Workers for such low salaries and bring down the Singapore salary also down. |

And u said that u r not entitled to specialist clinic and hospitalisation benefit, but i believe u still get paid mc right when u visit the govt or coy appointed clinic? How many days of AL do u get? I am kinda in the same situation as u but i do get 21 days AL, paid MC and my end contract bonus is guarantee 1 mth of my basic pay. |

Depends . R u trying to break into a new function/industry with no experience ? Example, jumping from MNC to bank etc If so, then i might take it because experience may lead to my next job if i am getting no where in my current role dont just think about the pay in the short term. Make sure u know why u r taking this role and for what. Anyway, take 1 year can still serve notice right if u find something better. And when u are young, must be able to take the risk eg hospital and medical .. do u really need it Quote:
