first of all, wad kind of stock broker you want to be? you can be a remiser, independent dealer or firm dealer. firm dealer have almost or no commission. not liable for losses. for independent dealer, you need to build your client base. you get kicked out of you are unable to generate profits to sustain. reading scripts is absolutely the sure fail way to get clients to avoid transacting with you. stock brokering firms are too busy to update their career sites. nonetheless, independent dealer turn over rate is high. in this profession, cold call is the only way to show your motivation especially if you're fresh. |

How do i become a stockbroker in singapore? Do i need any technical or fundamental knowledge other than simply taking the CFMAS test with MAS? Do i simply read a script to sell stocks over the phone and simply collect a commission on the volume of business done? Will i be liable for losses sustained by the client? (after all there is no 100% profit business in this world) Also, stock broking firms are not actively recruiting brokers as seen by the total lack of job recruitment ads out there, how on earth do i get an interview with one- assuming i pass the test? Thanks you all! |
