It is not that the civil service disregard graduates without honours but because there are simply too many job applicants with stellar results and qualifications. There was an occasion when I published a job opening on career@gov and there were 72 applications. The most practical thing for me to do is to consider only those with 2nd Upper & above as well as those with special recommendations. Eventually, I interviewed 12 candidates over 2 afternoons and I already find it quite draining. The rest, especially those distance learning & external degrees, won't even get close. |

fass degree pass with merit hi ppl, i will be entering this cse this sem. If let say i major in econs, and graduate without honours, does any of the ministries or stat board hire such graduate? if yes, what will the salary range be? some extra infor, i was a poly grad previously. |
