Unregistered 7 years should be VP in a bank, about 12-15k for FO 9-10k for BO.

From what i observe, 7 years is the period where realistically most professions will have their salary/growth stagnated. For examples, most engineers might become senior engineers commanding a pay of $6-7k while most bank executives might get stucked at the 'AVP' title.

I would like to join the civil service/GLC but the thought of having a salary cap($6-7k after 7 years) is really depressing. I would like know if one can actually venture further in the private sector or still get realistically stucked and capped somewhere. (assuming average performer as an executive/engineer).

How much do you see yourself getting after 7 years in employment and what is your job description?

Any input is much appreciated.
