The point about not identifying people is just a general one (not specific to your comment), as I notice this thread tends to name people. It has been posted here before sometime back that if people have enough resources and take offence at the comment, one can’t discount the prospect of pre-action discovery. In any case, the point was never about who the person is (again, no it is not the person or the firm you have in mind). The point arose from another comment about the quality of SUSS graduates and their prospects after graduation. I was merely pointing out that I have seen people who have decent prospects after graduating from SUSS, with the obvious caveat that much also depends on individual circumstances. |

No. In any case, think we should refrain from naming or otherwise identifying specific individuals on this forum so as not to tio defamation allegations (however commonly it may be done on verbal basis in practice). |

I also say. Let me help. For NQ, the latest discussion started from page 2117. But really, this topic comes up so often one would think it’s common knowledge by now, insofar as big 4 is concerned. For medium and boutique/chinatown, it really depends on how much you can bring in for the firm and consequently, the speed of promotion. I say it depends because for big 4, I am under the impression it is a pretty settled timescale from associate, senior associate, then from there see whether you can maintain your billings to make it to partner or … For smaller firms, less competition, with a few good cases to get your bosses attention, you may be a big fish in a smaller pond |

Can we go back to the purpose of this forum which is to share about legal practice salaries? What are the indicative salaries one can expect for NQ - 7PQE at Big 4, mid tier and boutique/Chinatown firms? |
