My batchmate and I promoted to GEO4 in 2021. He went to call HR about this in 2023 after he saw this discussion here. They replied that this is already factored into the adjustment. Our adjustment as GEO4 was higher than a current GEO3 adjustment.

Still within the 6k to 7+k estimate that was mentioned above leh. If you average performer why must be at the ceiling?
The example of 6.4k one most probably will reach the ceiling.
Your one means u just not progressing as fast as the rest lor

Whether you want to call it adjustment for the promo/merit increments, or for the GEO3 'pay raise', from my understanding, there was an adjustment made.

I have a colleague. Also GEO4. Promoted in 2021. But good performer. No KP roles yet. But 7YOE is 6.4k now. So by 10 YOE is either GEO5 or near GEO4 ceiling. So pretty good estimate by the primary teacher I will say. Even for the COVID promotees

Not all about SLs la. Teachers also need to assume responsibility. Need to know how to handle parents.
Sure SLs play a role of course. But teachers cannot just all push the blame if they themselves fail to handle properly. Same for SLs, if teachers fail to handle, they also can't just blame teachers. Must ask themselves if they got set a proper direction. These kind of things, takes a village one. No one person can just be solely responsible.

But a good estimate will be around 6+k to 7k gross monthly, with all the bonuses, should be near 100k like what the other poster has mentioned.
Good performers should reach this 6+k in their 7th year or so. And by 10th year, depending on whether they have positions, they should at least reach GEO5 and probably even near the ceiling.
