Takes around 2-3 weeks for referee checks. If you want to know results or status, call the HR. It’s totallly normal and once ure hired, they are going be your colleagues anyway.

It’s alrite and in line with what a regular NUS/NTU engineer get. But as most engineers starting out in LTA get to EE at the 2 year milestone, you might see yourself lagging behind in promotion to your peers

Honestly, a SIT engineering degree is useless unless u have a masters from recognised Uni to stand a chance at becoming a PE.

5k is considered good for SIT grad, but high chance WLB is basically nonexistent if you are in RAOM / Power Supply / MES.

Yeah. Even with scholarship these days the likelihood of being f*cked is so damn high. Old timers don't want to step down/retire, everyone in the scholar chain is getting stuck.

Can't progress upwards. The regular staff has it worse.
