You've already compromised your negotiating position by saying yes. They have no incentive to reopen negotiation. |

Re-negotiate salary after accept verbally? I have just accepted a job offer this morning verbally, over a phone call. But the salary offer is lower than what I have expected. I spent the whole of today thinking about it, and regretted that I did not negotiate with the HR over the phone for a higher salary. Is it ok if I call them back tomorrow morning, to ask them if the salary is still open to negotiation? Please let me know your views. Thank you! |
