It might be the same in your next posting but there's a chance that you may be ranked higher. When you fly with the eagles, you won't fly high. If you fly with the turkeys, you might be the next star. |

ope vs cpe vs dont do it Hi, Im one of those that started from GEO1, 9y in and at Geo3. I've voiced out that I'm keen on moving either ope or cpe this year but everyone around me has been saying that it's the same everywhere in my zone and advising against it. others are saying give the new P, new this year, a chance first things might get better. I'm really very tired on going 10y in the same place, and being on the receiving end of the same blame game and same you have potential so must do more but not your turn for good PB and promotion every year. any advice? |

Teachers have a hard time and some think otherwise. It is more than dealing with students. You will need to deal with parents, peers, support staff and superiors. Pte tutors have more focused jobs. |

But, no one was comparing MOE to private sector roles until you jumped in. Nor is such a topic particularly fruitful. People can vote with their feet: if you think MOE offers a wonderfully stable and comfortable job, apply, join the service. HR is always recruiting. And then you can speak from experience. |

I just resigned from MOE Teaching was okay, students and preparing for national exams is ok. What drained me was all kinds of admin, meeting, parents demands, school leaders pandering to all the demands.. |
