OP of this. Just an update of my timeline:

Early Feb: First Interview
Early Feb (few days later): Writing assignment
Mid Feb: Second interview
Early March (2 weeks after): HR contacted to submit G50
Mid March: Submitted G50
Early April: Attended vetting session
Mid April (2 weeks after): HR contacted for documents submission + medical declaration form
Early May: Was informed security clearance cleared
End May (about 1 week after): HR called to inform salary package

Will be signing contract either this week or next week. So in total took about 4 months. Clearance took about 8 weeks for me. Good luck to everyone else that’s waiting!

May: Notified that I passed clearance and HR will be in contact soon for the package

How long does it take for MHRD to get back with the salary package and then the contract signing? I feel like the wait is damn long sia…. They did told me pending approval few weeks ago… really wonder how long more do I have to wait…

Cus recently i received multiple No Caller ID calls within a minute while I was away. I had a suspicion so i went to check the impressai chatbot and found out that the application status changed from Needs Approval to Under Review. I had the final interview/unit preview on 29 Apr. Afternoon. Less than 2 hours later, hiring unit sent me the G50 form to fill in. I completed and sent to them immediately.

So it has been 2 weeks since. Everything was done by the hiring unit - including liaison for interviews and all. I found it strange... like my prospective colleagues would Whatsapp me using their own HP. I thought they would be using their DID to contact me. And from the looks of it - seems like a personal phone number rather than a work handphone number.

HR was not involved at all. MHRD never once contacted me.

Should I drop the team a chaser? my G50 - i am a current civil servant and i did it before so should be ok ba.
