because there is no reward for caring abt performance of specific students. just perform average and spend energy on gunning for KP ship. KPs are brazen enugh to even say nothing wrong with that.

To clarify, this was in Apr 2022, before salary adjustment. Double whammy of only 5% adjustment for Geo 4 in oct 2022.

Income definitely varies according to ministry and role.
Cybersecurity vs teacher. We all know who will earn more.
SAF regular vs teacher…same.

The point is, just be grateful. Many teachers always pit themselves to people from other jobs or other ministries. Then why you come teaching in the first place if everywhere else so good? Teachers enjoy long holidays, other people got complain? Give and take. Be contented with what you have. If you can’t do that, then go elsewhere that pays more and stop complaining.

Not all teachers complain or point fingers blah blah. It's just the minority. You do well, you get financially rewarded with promotion and merit increments. By the end of a few years, you will already be earning quite a few hundreds or even a thousand more than your peers. So i have nothing to complain. All government jobs come with stability. It is not exclusive to teaching
