How are you earning 6k when executive project engineers are already making that amount. Senior project engineer should be earning basic 6.4K

Once you enter, you will find out why the salaries are like that. You aren't the only one being shortchanged.

dont look at the grade first. look at the compensation offered.

then compare it to the grade and see how far away it is from the ceiling.

then you can gauge whether its attractive enough for your YOE and whether you have room to grow your compensation over the next few years.

As I mentioned, I am currently working in another statutory board as Engineer, then LTA offered me Senior Engineer role which I thought should be pegged to MX 11.So I was a bit upset when HR shared with me it's actually still MX12.

I am wondering why Engineer, Executive Engineer and Senior Engineer all under MX12?
