Not impossible to match, but imo more likely to start at DD1 than DD2. They start you at DD2 you have no room to allow for promotion. Most DDs stay as DDs unless boss think you are exceptional, so patience and ability to accept what cannot be changed are important traits. Joining as a relatively young “senior officer” grade, how your experience will fit into MAS style is still untested, no very strong reason to start new recruit on higher DD grade unless you have some proven management experience. Or the department you interviewing for is in need of team lead. Do note banking team lead is not walk in the park Please also note these are informal views as here is not HR, your interview panel may well give you a different view. |
